This new 1/32 release from Superscale is designed for the Hasegawa kit. It is for an unpainted metal 405 FG aircraft during the last months of the war. The major trim color is red and aside from the tail ID bands, the red forward cowling, prop hub, cowl flaps, wing tips, canopy surround and rudder trim tab will have to be painted by the modeler.

This aircraft is Milt Thompson's 'Jabo' from the 509th FS/405th FG. The decal sheet includes all the other markings including the segmented fuselage insignia to take care of the intercooler doors. Complete data is included and a placement guild is provided in the instructions. I noticed that the name on the sheet is Bob Hartmann so there may be some sort of glitch involved in the instructions.

Cartograf is now Superscale's default printer and the sheet is superbly done.
