NOTES:

For Revell kit.

The final Starfighter Decals sheet for the Peashooter is a very large one, thanks to the unit on which the sheet is based. This one is also for the Revell 1/72 P-26. Again, these may fit the Pavla kit as well; at least the unique markings may--not sure about the tail stripes. Anyway, this sheet includes three markings options with enough insignia and tail stripes to do two aircraft. These aircraft are from the 17th Pursuit Group based at March Field, CA.

There is basically a scheme for each of the three squadrons in the 17th. The white fin one is from the 34th Pursuit Squadron. The 95th is in blue and the 73rd is in red. These are all with Olive Drab fuselages, though the 73rd option provides the ability to do the plane with a blue fuselage. These are very colorful planes and the sheet provides all the cowling, fuselage and tail markings you'll need, so no worries about masking what is really a complex scheme. It is nice that there are enough insignia and other general markings to enable one to do all three planes. Though none of them show wing walk areas, those are provided as well.

As with all their newer 1/72 sheets, this one is superbly printed by Cartograf in Italy. The sheet even includes the wing walk areas where needed. Standard setting solutions (Microsol) are recommended.
