NOTES:

Printed by Cartograf

This latest sheet is the first of two on the TBD Devastator in 1/72 scale and covers pretty much all of those units that were flying the type in 1941/42. These are all in one of two paint schemes. The early 1941 scheme was overall AN 602 Light Grey, with later aircraft painting the upper surfaces and underside of the folding portion of the wings in M 485 Blue-Grey. This particular sheet was designed for the Airfix Devastator, though I'm sure it would also work with the Valom kit as well.

As you can see from the sheets, you get enough markings to do at least two full aircraft and even more if you use insignia from the kit or some other source. The sheet includes the large wing walk areas as well as prop tip markings and the black/white stripes for the tail hook. Units include VS-42, VT-6, VT-2 and several for VT-8. A complete data placement guide is included in the full color instruction sheets. The decals themselves are superbly printed by Cartograf.

Starfighter decals is committed to providing fresh markings options for some of the older and more interesting kits and I'm sure you are equally as pleased about this as am I.
