For PCM 1/32 Macchi C.200

The next new sheet from Spada Decals is for the Pacific Coast Models Macchi C.200. This sheet is for six aircraft and provides only the unique markings. The rest, such as insignia and tail crosses will have to come from the donor sheet.

One thing about the Saetta is that it had a wide variety of camouflage schemes, all of them interesting.

First up is from 154 squadriglia based at Trapani in April of 1943. It is in mostly sand with green blotches and the required white fuselage band. A replacement fin in in dark green. Unfortunately, the squadron code decal is printed in white when it should be black.

Next is a dark green over grey aircraft from the 95th squadriglia from Chinisia, also in April of 1943

The yellow nosed plane is from 150 gruppo at Tirana in May of 1941, probably involved in the disastrous Italian campaign against Greece.

An aircraft sent to the Russian front  is this 96 squadriglia aircraft with the usual yellow bands and lower wing tips.

From 79 squadriglia is this nicely done plane, also with a yellow cowling based at Catania in February 1941.

Finally, an 86 squadriglia aircraft at Fantanarossa in late 1941. Another challenging camo scheme.

The sheet itself is superbly printed by AviaGraphics and appears nice and thin.

Some great options to replace what comes in the kit.
