This is the first sheet of new decals for the B-26 in 1/72 and I'm glad to see that there is some attention paid to this aircraft. What we really need is a new mold Marauder and I can only hope that Hasegawa's success with the 1/72 Mitchell will mean that they'll tackle this one. Right now, we have a choice between Revell, Matchbox (I believe) and Airfix for the later B-26. All are old and the choice of most will be the Airfix kit, only because it is probably the only one that can be easily found.

First up is 'My Darling/Agitator' of the 444 BS/320 BG. This bare metal B-26C-45 has had the upper surfaces and fin lightly over-sprayed with Medium Green and the aircraft itself sports a neat shark mouth and red painted cowl fronts and prop hubs.

The other is an OD over Neutral Grey B-26C-45; "Mary Ann" from the 494 BS/344 BG. Typical of most B-26s of the time, it is devoid of any addition color other than the nose art.

A fine set of markings for two planes and perhaps it will foretell a new kit!

Like all Pyn-up decals, the nose artwork is superbly done on special paper
