This particular sheet covers two aircraft from the famous 91st Bomb Group operating out of England in 1944. The kits for these two aircraft come from Revell-Monogram and will require a bit of modification to accurately portray the planes on the sheet, but the mods are minor.

First up is 'Little Miss Mischief' the 324th BS. It is a B-17G that has been extensively repaired using replacement bits from other aircraft In particular, it has an aft fuselage and port outer wing replaced from a camouflaged aircraft. It also has no bulged astrodome, the older tail turret and the side gunner's windows are not the staggered variety found on later war aircraft. As a note, the faded mission markings for this plane are accurate.

The second aircraft is the famous 'Miss Ouachita' that was shot down by Heinz Bär in February of 1944. This B-17F has an early upper turret, no bulged astrodome, and has several areas of fresh OD where other markings were painted over. As the exact color of the nose art's suit is not known for sure, there are optional ones provided. This is the case of any other markings were they may be an alternative. Cutting Edge is one of those companies that gives you options when the facts are not known for certain.

The instruction sheet is superbly done and there is an extensive history of each aircraft which just adds to the interest when it comes to building models of these aircraft.  I highly recommend reading this prior to using these markings as there is a lot of good info in there. The insignia will have to come from the kit or one of several Cutting Edge insignia sheet. The finely detailed nose art markings are in duplicate in case you need an extra

These sheets are extremely limited to 300 copies so if you want it, you need to get it soon.
