Notes:

With the recent release of the Roden Gladiator kit, there has been an influx of interest in the type. Max Decals has added a super sheet to its line of quality decals with this most recent Gladiator release. The markings are for the Roden kit, but should work equally as well on the Pyro/Inpact/Lindberg kit since they are similar. A nice addition to the Max line is that the decal placement guide is now in color.

The sheet contains markings for seven aircraft from different services.

First is an 80 Sq RAF plane with a red fin and wheel covers.

Next are two 3 Sq RAF aircraft. both have a green upper wing marking. The upper plane is the Squadron leader's aircraft while the lower one is from an exercise in 1938. All of the RAF planes are in a silver finish.

A Gladiator II from 2 Esq of the Portuguese Air Force is next. It is dark green overall with light blue on the undersides of the wings and tail plane. These planes had a three bladed propeller.

From 73 Sq RAF comes this very colorful Gladiator I from 1938.

Just below it is a Belgian Gladiator I from 1 Esc in Khaki Green upper with silver doped lower surfaces.

Finally, another Portuguese Gladiator II, but this time from 1 Esq again in 1941.

The instructions provide additional marking info on the back side of the sheet with references for those who wish more data on the planes in question.

This superb sheet has been added to your editor's stash for when he does his Gladiator kit!
