Hard to believe that it has been a year since this was released in 1/72 and 1/48 scale, but it sometimes takes a bit for things to come to fruition and it was well worth the wait. For 1/32, it takes two sheets with the tail markings being especially colorful and providing additional rudder sections.

This one is for the 2007 demo aircraft as provided by 410 squadron, one of the Hornet training establishments. This time it is a tribute to 25 years of service of the Hornet in Canadian service. The CAF has been quite pleased with the performance of the Hornet as its rugged airframe has been an assurance of longevity when used outside the nautical environment. I'm not sure what they plane to replace it with, but whatever it is, it will be more expensive and probably procured in even smaller numbers than the Hornet buy.

The sheet provides a complete set of data markings and though not shown as it would basically be a brown rectangle, a set of masks is included for the false canopy. The instructions are among the best in the industry and show precise placement of the various markings. I'm sure most of you will be using the Academy kit for this beauty, though you could also use the rather ancient Revell or Hasegawa ones if you so desire. If you want one, I recommend getting it now as these sheets have been rather quick sellers.
