Hard to believe that it has been a year since the previous numbered sheet from Leading Edge, but they have broken that absence by producing another superlative sheet for display Hornets.

This one is for the 2007 demo aircraft as provided by 410 squadron, one of the Hornet training establishments. This time it is a tribute to 25 years of service of the Hornet in Canadian service. The CAF has been quite pleased with the performance of the Hornet as its rugged airframe has been an assurance of longevity when used outside the nautical environment. I'm not sure what they plane to replace it with, but whatever it is, it will be more expensive and probably procured in even smaller numbers than the Hornet buy.

The sheet provides a complete set of data markings that include tail hook stripes and the false canopy. The instructions are among the best in the industry and show precise placement of the various markings. No recommended kit is provided for this 1/72 scale sheet, but I'm sure that most will be using the still nice, but showing its age, Hasegawa kit.

If you want one, I recommend getting it now as these sheets have been rather quick sellers.
