This is Jasmine Models' first foray into the wonderful world of 1/144 and they could not have picked a better subject than the Blue Angels. For those wondering about kits, no worries as Dragon has you covered. Those wanting a bit more nostalgia could dig up the old LS kit and bring it out of its prototype configuration, but the Dragon kit is quite nice and easy to find.

The sheet itself contains enough markings to do two of the teams planes. I know what you are thinking "If I get three sheets, I can do the whole deal". Pretty much so.

The decals are quite well done and the yellow appears to be properly opaque. There is no listed tie-in between serial number, name and tail number provided, so that makes things a bit difficult. The artwork plane is first on the sheet, but as there are 9 serials, the rest will require some research (and good eyes as the serials and names in this scale are quite small). You might also note that there are decals provided for the instruments and there is a neat Blue Angels badge for use on a display stand.

Overall, a very fine sheet that is most welcome. I particularly like the resealable bag and the inclusion of a large sheet of waxed paper to keep the decals from sticking.  If you can't find this locally, ask your hobby shop to order it for you.
