This particular sheet is on the H-60 Blackhawk in IAF service. What makes this one interesting and a bit unusual is that it is for the 1/35 Academy kit. Done in the now familiar format of a booklet with photos of the actual aircraft to assist in decal placement, this sheet covers the Blackhawk from 1996 to the present time.

The H-60 is only in two units; the First Helicopter Squadron and the Desert Birds Squadron. There are two basic camo schemes for this aircraft. First is the 'as delivered' scheme in US Olive Drab (FS 34031). All of them have the 'vee' marking on the aft fuselage. Those painted in the US were done in a bright yellow instead of the usual light brown color. When the helos were repainted, it was done in a disruptive scheme of FS 30145 and FS 33448. Some of the aircraft also have a 'greyed out' insignia.

It seems that all of the H-60s carry the 'disco lights' IR jammer and side mounted flare dispensers as well as the latest IR reducing exhaust shields. The instructions provide a highly detailed data and stencil placement guide. The larger of the two sheets is also on a single carrier so individual decals will need to be cut out prior to use.

Overall, another superb sheet from Isradecal and one that will really enhance your next big scale Blackhawk!
