For a brief background history of the Fieseler Fi-156, please see the previous review.

This is the second Storch sheet that Mike Grant has produced. Like the previous sheet, the decals are superbly printed and razor-sharp. They are also quite colorful. These are also printed on an ALPS printer so have a continuous clear coat. However, most of us are used to trimming decals anyway so that should be no problem! This sheet is also available in 1/48 and 1/32 so check the link at the bottom of the review for more information.

Two of the schemes on this sheet are for Swiss AF versions. These brightly painted versions are sure to stand out. First scheme is overall yellow/orange with red flaps, cowling and gear struts. The other scheme has the red and white neutrality stripes applied in mid-1944 for even more color!

Next is a camouflaged ambulance version in RLM 70/71 over RLM 65 (Mike's instructions say RLM 76 for underside, but I'm of the opinion it was actually RLM 65).

The final scheme is for a standard Storch, this one a hack for a night fighter squadron. Colors are the same as the above aircraft.
