Furball Aero-Design FS 48-042: F9F-8 Canopy Framing

If you are as I, you do not like all the fussy masking required to replicate windscreen and canopy glass seals that are so prevalent on modern kit. Furball Aero-Design has notice this and has done a number of sets just for this purpose.

This particular set is for the 1/48 F9F-8 Cougar and is in white. I've darkened the sheet image so you can see this. There are sufficient decals for the modeler to do two complete kits. The kit recommended for this set is the recent Kitty Hawk offering. There has been another Cougar produced, and this is the ancient Revell kit of decades ago and I'm not even sure it is 1/48 scale, so no guarantees that it would fit. It certainly won't fit the Hobby Boss Panther kit as there are issues with the shape of the canopy and windscreen with that kit.

It is a great addition to their line and perfect if you are planning to use any of Furball's fine decal sheets on your next Kitty Hawk single seat Cougar.
