Seven options

The nice thing about a company doing larger scale decals is that often these are reproduced for the smaller scale modeler. Such is the case with this latest Furball Aero-Design sheet.  This set is designed for a bomb laden Tomcat and offers a plethora of options, but really, if you are using any of these weapons on a model, the set will come in quite handy. It offers exactly the same items and numbers as the previous 1/48 sheet, so I'm using the previous images.

So what is on the sheet?

(6)GBU-12, (6)BLU-111A/B, (4)GBU-31(V)1/B with BLU-117 warhead, (4)GBU-31(V)1/B with MK 84 warhead, (4) MK 83, (4) GBU-16, (4) BLU-117A/B, (4) GBU-24A/B, (4) MK 20, (4)GBU-10, (4) MK 84, (4) BLU-110A/B, (6) GBU-38(V)/1B, (6) MK 82, (6) AIM-9M, (2) TARPS, (4) AIM-7M, (4)AIM-54C, (2) AN/AAQ-25, and (2) AN/ASQ-T20. No matter how you look at it, that's a lot of ordnance and pods. Note that for most of the ordnance, there are also blue stripes for training rounds (training iron bombs are blue overall). Face it, most people see loaded military planes at shows and this is what they carry.

There are three full pages of large full color illustrations showing exactly what decal goes where. The cover sheet that is shown is only one of those pages. In addition, there is a full load-out diagram for the Tomcat. Like all Furball Aero-Detail sheets, this one is printed by Cartograf. The sheet is so large it doesn't completely fit on the platen of my scanner.

So if you want to bomb up a Tomcat or just want an accurate stencil sheet for modern weapons, this is for you.
