Seven options

This is Furball Aero-Design's second sheet on the F3H Demon. The sheet is sized for the Hobby Boss kits, though I guess it might fit the Czech Model kit if you still have one of those. There are seven options on this set, all of them in light gull grey and white. Note that the white is gloss while the lgg is matte. Also note that not all the planes have white rudders.

The first option is an F3H-2M from VF-112 at NAS Miramar in 1957. This plane has red tips to the tailplanes and wings.

Next is a VF-122  F3H-2 based on the USS Ticonderoga in 1957. Orange is the color of the trim.

An F3H-3N from VF-124 is the third option. This plane was based at NAS Miramar in 1956

The aircraft with the AE tail code was on the USS Constellation in 1962. This F3H-2 was with VF-121

Next up is an F-3B from VF-151 aboard the USS Coral Sea in 1962. This aircraft lasted into the era of Navy aircraft redesignation.

From VF-161 aboard the USS Oriskany is this F3H-2 from 1962. Trim on this is red

Finally we have an F3H-2 from VF-193 aboard the USS Bon Homme Richard in 1962. This aircraft has a blue fin tip.

Several things to note on these planes. One is that many of the planes had either one or both gun ports covered over on each side. Secondly there are several different styles of 'NAVY' for the fuselage on the sheet. The full color instructions point out which version to use on which plane along with other information. A full placement guide is provided and there are enough common markings and wing walks to do two planes. Note also that all leading edges are coated in corroguard. The decals themselves are superbly printed by Cartograf and very colorful.
