The French have been very good at selling warplanes to other nations. Probably because they will sell to anyone who is willing to pay. As a result, Mirage jets have done very well in the air arms of other nations, including a couple in South America. These aircraft don't get a lot of decal coverage, so it was nice to see the latest FCM sheet covering a couple of them. Basically, you get markings for four aircraft and can do one from either country.

The Brazilian aircraft are first, and these were delivered in the standard French scheme of light grey and blue-grey. You can do either a Mirage 2000B two seater or 2000C fighter. The low viz markings for these planes will need to be painted in place and for that reason, you have masks provided. There are complete instructions for using these masks and the colors needed. It seems complex, but is very straight-forward and should provide the careful modeler with no problems. That's the grey rectangle you see in the image.

The other option is for one of two Peruvian aircraft in sand and stone with a light blue-grey underside. There are two serial number options and while it doesn't clearly state that the other is for a two seat version, I'm betting that it is.

Instructions are well done with full color profiles and upper view on the main side of the sheet with details for placing stencils (available for one aircraft) on the other. Color information in terms of FS 595 references are also provided.  For kits, the sheet recommends Revell for the 2000C and Heller for the 2000B. Overall, a fine sheet that is well printed by Microscale.

Thanks to FCM for providing the review sheet.
