This is the third sheet in this series for 375 FG P-51s and covers four D models. A nice touch is that each has a different camo scheme so we aren't stuck with a field of natural metal!
First is 'Ol Flak Joe' from the 363rd FS. It is olive drab over neutral grey. B6*O has a red rudder as was typical for this squadron. For those who have trouble with spinner bands, it is offered as a decal.
Next is C5*T, from the 364th FS. 'Hurry Home Honey has the upper surface of the plane and the fin/rudder in olive drab. The rest of the plane, including the wings, has been stripped to bare metal. Just as a reminder, if wing/tail ID stripes are carried, it is black on bare metal and white on camo surfaces.
Also from the 364th FS is 'Arkansas Traveller', the mount of Lt Tom Adams. It carries the yellow rudder of the 364th.
Finally is one of 'Kit' Carson's 'Nooky Booky' aircraft. This one is RAF dark green over neutral grey.
Decals are designed for the Tamiya kit, but we all know that you could use any one of the other 1/48 P-51Ds with little trouble.
As usual, I've cropped some of the common markings from the bottom of the sheet. There is also a half sheet included with stripes and some codes.
