Continuing with their very nice sheets for the F-101B Voodoo, here is one with two more early ADC birds. These both need to have the kit backdated by removing some items, including the slime lights and a few antennas that were not added until these planes saw service with the Guard. Both are in ADC grey and the only kit in this scale is the still nice Monogram version.
Aircraft #1 is from the 18th FIS when based in Grand Forks, ND. It is named 'Red River Queen' after the river that runs through town.
The other is from the 84th FIS based at Oxnard, CA. This unit went on to F-106s and finally ended its days with T-33s.
A full set of markings for one aircraft are provided, but no worries as the kit decals are quite useable for the second option.
