Nice to see yet another Panther sheet for the Monogram kit. It is part of the hobby that one desires things like Panther decal sheets for many years and then finally one gets a goodly selection of them! My advice to you is that if you want sheets like this, to buy those that appear now, as in a few years, they will gone and very difficult to find.

There are three aircraft on this sheet and 2/3rds. The other sheet in this set consists of insignia and the metal parts that cover the leading edges of the wings, and in some cases the wing roots as well. Eagle Strike fully admits that applying these may be difficult, but they are supplied for those who'd rather have decals than have to paint these areas.

First is a VMA-223 aircraft from 1955. It is in the standard overall gloss sea blue with nice red trim.

Next is a VMA-224 aircraft from 1952/53. It is in the bare metal finish that was tried for a period of time on Naval aircraft. Even though given a clear coat to help prevent corrosion, it was found that the regular paint, though heavier, did a much better job of protection.

Finally, from VMFT-20 in 1955 is this rather fetching green-trimmed Panther.

There are enough insignia to do the bare metal and one of the gloss blue options.
