Seems as if Aeromaster/Eagle Strike has finally gotten around to producing decals based on Norris Graser's research. Norris is a major P-47 fanatic and it is thanks to him that we have all these great P-47 sheets from various decal makers. This one is for 362 FG aircraft. All are P-47D-30s and recommended kits are by Hasegawa, Monogram and Academy. All aircraft are in bare metal with OD anti-glare panel and black stripes on tail and tail planes. Red upper tail.
First is E4*D 'Gooch' from the 377 FS. It has a red cowling front and D Day stripes on the lower fuselage. This one does not have the fin fillet attached.
'Why Pick on Me?' is from the 379 FS and has a yellow cowling and spinner. There are red circles on the plane that may well show where damage has been done.
Finally, 'Chuck's Wagon' from the 377 FS. It has a full red cowling with a serrated edge (provided as a decal) for the cowl flaps. It also has the lower fuselage D-Day stripes. It is not confirmed that the plane had the fillet attached.
Another great sheet for your next bubbletop P-47.
