If you model in 1/72 and like the Fw-190, then this is the sheet for you. It includes four subjects of which three are D-9 variants. These are all late war birds so will have some interesting camo schemes.

First is an FW-190A-8 from 9./JG 54. Yellow 2 has a blue Reich defense band but is otherwise in standard RLM 74/75/76 colors. It is heavily mottled and the paint is chipping rather badly in spots. An extra 'bare aluminum' decal is provided for you, which is nice.

Next is the first of the JG 26 190D-9s. It is in RLM 82/83/76 with black and white RVD bands on the rear fuselage.  White 3 has what appears to be a replacement rudder.

Brown 7 is next and is in rlm 82/83 uppers with 'RLM 84' greenish-blue undersides. It also has a replacement rudder in RLM 76 with mottling.

Finally, Black 8 which is also in similar colors to the above aircraft. This one has much of the lower wing in bare metal. Not unusual in late war planes. In fact, there was an official directive in late 1944 which stated that the undersides of planes were to be left unpainted in order to save on raw materials. Few companies complied.

There are lots of kits for these markings. For the A-8, Hasegawa and Revell are good choices and for the D-9, Hasegawa and Academy will probably be the better pics. There are others out there from Airfix, Italeri and others so use what you have!
