To go along with their book on the subject, Dutch Profile Decals has released this sheet on post war NEIAF/AURI P-51D/K Mustangs. All of these aircraft are in overall bare metal with OD anti-glare panels.

The first three options are all the original Dutch 'flag' markings from 121 Squadron. (second set from the left) There are three different presentations of the aircraft serial number provided for this set.

Next are planes from the Photographic Unit and 120 Squadron with the later insignia, which reverted to the pre-war markings. Three options are provided here as well. 120 Squadron planes have red or blue spinners.

The next option is a red nosed plane from the AURI in 1950. Red and white Indonesian 'flag' insignia with a matte black anti-glare panel.

Finally, in full AURI markings and with a fearsome shark mouth is this last plane. The spinner is red with the mouth surround area in black. Rudder is white prior to applying the checks.

The decals are superbly printed and in most cases, multiple color markings are done is several segments to prevent registration problems.

The sheet is both in 1/72 and 1/48 with enough insignia to do one each of the various time periods. For kits in this scale one only has to look as far as Hasegawa, Academy, Tamiya, Airfix and others for usable options.
