NOTES: |
The second
Corsair sheet covers some historically important aircraft. All of these
examples are in overall gloss dark sea blue.
First is from
VMA-332 during the Korean war. This one has a lovely white nose band with
red polka dots. You'll have to paint the white nose band before applying
the dots.
Next is the aircraft of the first black naval aviator, Ens Jesse Brown when he was with VF-32. Alternate modex numbers are supplied for this aircraft.
Another VF-32 plane is Medal of Honor recipient Lt(Jg) Tom Hudner's Corsair. both of these aircraft have only white fin tips and white prop hubs for any color.
Finally, the subject not on the 1/32 sheets is this VA-14 aircraft. Again, color is limited to fin tip and prop hub, in this case it is yellow.
