NOTES: |
I'm not positive if this is a reprint or not, but it certainly does come at a good time for those seeking an alternate set of markings for the new Hasegawa 1/48 FW-190A-8 kit.
The first aircraft is piloted by Walter Dahl of Stab./JG 300. His Blue 13 is in the standard RLM 74/75/76 with some rather heavy mottling in patches on the fuselage side. Several versions of the nose markings are provided as research on this is still up to conjecture.
Next is Black 10 as flown with 2./JG 11. The aircraft is either a very faded RLM 74/75 on the upper surface of the fuselage or a straight RLM 75. The wings are the normal RLM 75/76. Both this and the previous aircraft have the early canopy.
On both planes the various colored bands will need to be painted by the builder.
