When former Warsaw Pact nations eventually joined NATO after the fall of the Soviet Union, they brought into the mix a number of types not normally operated by NATO nations. In this case, one of the types that continued to see service was the Hind helicopter. These were, for the most part, the Mi-24V export version. Though large and perhaps not as maneuverable or as capable as the AH-64 and some other western types, these helos were operated in rather large numbers and even now, are still potent weapons.

So here is what is on the sheet:

First are two Polish Air Force versions in overall olive drab that differ only in serial number. Both options are from 2014.

Next are two Czech Hinds. One is painted in an engine grey over white scheme to represent one of the Coastal Command Liberators flown during WWII. The other is in the standard grey/green camo with low visibility markings. These are both from 2015.

The fifth of six options is from the Bulgarian Air Force in 2007. This Hind is in brown, sand, and dark green in a wrap around scheme.

Finally we have a Hungarian plane from 2008. This one carries two F-15 kill markings, the results of a NATO exercise involving Louisiana ANG Eagles.

The decals themselves are superbly printed by Cartograf. The instructions are well done and give some additional info about the planes. The recommended kit is by Revell/Monogram, though you need to know that this kit does not have the 'Hind twist'.
