This is the second sheet from Caracal Models for the Trumpeter A-3 Skywarrior and is designed for the A-3B and KA-3B versions that have had the turret removed and the 'duckbutt' fairing put in its place. Most of these aircraft are prior to the EKA-3B so are lacking the various electronic antenna bulges and fairings of that version. The markings are almost all from the 1960s. Each aircraft was painted in the scheme the aircraft wore pretty much until the end of its days, light gull grey over white. Before the early 70's, the light gull grey was matte or semi-matte but the white was always gloss.

You get seven markings options covering four different units. The VAH-10 options all have different air group code letters with the final one on the USS 'Handjob' having a red check mark on the fin. Of the two VAK-308 markings, one from 1977 has the maroon whale on the tail while the 1978 offering has the short-lived black whale mark.

The sheets are quite extensive in terms of markings as the A-3 is not a small plane in any scale. In addition to the two full size main sheets, there are two smaller ones; one with the wing/fuselage walk area and the other with the swords for the VAH-10 options.

Below is a listing of the aircraft provided on the sheet.

The set comes with a full color camo placement and markings booklet as well as other information pertaining to each of the markings options. The decals are superbly printed by Cartograf.
