This is the First of what may be more sheets for the new Kinetic 1/48 S2F-1 Tracker and covers two of the initial units to operate the type. These were both painted in overall sea blue so those wanting to build this one will have no issues painting it as pretty much everyth9ing, including struts, wheels and wheel wells were usually in sea blue. A real lazy man's paint scheme that I happen to like!

There are markings for two planes on this sheet and going by the cover art, the first is from VS-21. This has the white band with a red lightning bolt on the engine nacelles. These bolts are also provided separately in case you want to paint the white stripes.

The other is from VS-20 and its color comes from a blue band on the fin with white stars.  Both options have  white vertical stab tips and both have the early nacelles (in other words, they are open at the back). Both will need the de-icing boots painted on, but the sheet comes with the large wing walk area marking.

The decals themselves are superbly printed by Cartograf and there are enough common markings to do one of the two options. Assuming the kit also includes an overall sea blue option (I have not seen it yet), you could use kit markings for the second option.
