Next in Caracal Models' recent 1/32 sheets is this very nice one for the F-4C/D Phantom II.  As you probably know, there is only one kit available for this plane in this scale and that is the one from Tamiya. It isn't exactly a new kit, but it is still quite nice and builds into a very large model. All  of the options on this sheet are in overall FS 16473 ADC Grey, which makes them very easy to paint. There are five options from four units in the set, and set it is as there are four distinct sheets, two of them for data markings and insignia.

First option is an F-4C from the 114 FIS, Oregon ANG, the 'schoolhouse' for the F-4. This particular aircraft, like most of them at the time, was named. In this case it is '8 Ball'.

Next up is a 'Happy Hooligan' F-4D from the 178 FIS, North Dakota ANG. This unit had some of the earliest F-4Ds built.

Next up is a nice F-4D from the 199 FIS, Hawaiian ANG. This unit also flew these planes in the SEA camouflage scheme.

Finally two 111 FIS, Texas ANG planes in the 'flag' scheme they wore for many years. These differ by serial number with the one shown having a MiG kill on the splitter plate.

There are enough insignia, data markings and USAF logos for one aircraft. You should be able to glean additional insignia from the kit markings to do more. The decals themselves are superbly printed by Microscale and the full color instruction booklet provides all the information you need to complete your kit. In all an excellent sheet for the large scale modeler.
