When Aviaeology produces a sheet, they generally do it in all scales. When it comes to 1/32, they have divided the markings into two different sets. This is set one. The set covers 404 Squadron Beaufighters which were basically operated during the last year of the war in Europe. This set includes six different aircraft.

Beaufighters of this unit were not all camouflaged the same nor were they equipped the same. Not only that, but many of them were named. All of these are Beaufighter TF.Xs, some with and others without the extended dorsal strake.

The Aviaeology instructions are the same as with all of their other 404 Beaufighter sets and in this case, those markings that are not provided in this set are marked out in the instructions. The instructions contain a rather detailed description of each option and provide scale drawings of various equipment not offered in the only kit for the Beaufighter in this scale, the rather old one from Revell. This includes information and drawings on the differences in elevators and in the rocket rails carried by these planes.

The decals themselves are superbly printed and provide insignia for one aircraft. It is an excellent set for that Revell kit you have and a great excuse to pull it out and start building.
