With the recent release of Revell's huge 1/32 Ju-88A-1 kit, it was expected that one of the biggest Ju-88 fans on the planet, AIMS Decals, would release a sheet for this new kit.

Impressive this one is and it is really a sheet and a half, thanks to the size of the markings. Many of the stencils and insignia markings will need to come from the kit decal sheet, but that isn't a problem as Revell AG decals have been very good of late. All of the options are in the standard splinter camo of RLM 70/71/65 with differenced noted in each of the markings information. A nice thing about AIMS decals is that they provide specific references for these markings.

So first up is a Ju-88A-0 from KG 30. This one has red spinners and carries the old, thinner insignia. These are supplied on the sheets.

Next is an A-1 variant with the tips of the spinners in red. This KG 77 plane has the white band (it could be salmon colored) on the fin and upper wing.

Another A-1 version from KG51 has yellow prop spinner tips. AIMS provides a set of swastikas for this kit as I'm pretty sure the ROG one did not include it.

A photo recon A-1 version from Aufld. Gr 123 is next This one has the unit emblem in white outline on the outside of the engines and an aft canopy section for two guns vice the normal one.

Finally a C2 version from KG.30. This Zerstorer version has a canon of some sort in the nose and the nose greenhouse replaced with one that is smooth.

The instructions are excellent and provide detail shots for markings placement and where the camera ports are for the recon bird. The decals themselves are superbly printed by Cartograf in Italy.

AIMS also has conversion parts for the C2 version and the different props for the A-0 variant as well as replacement aft canopy sections and cameras.
