We sure don't
see many 1/72 sheets from Aeromaster, and it is a shame as they do such nice
ones. This particular sheet is in celebration of the Hasegawa 1/72 Lancaster kit
that was released last year. It contains unique markings for four aircraft, all
in Dark Green/Dark Earth over Black, and insignia for two aircraft.
F
irst up is
'Mickey the Moocher' from 61 Squadron. This Mk III completed 204 missions.
Next is 'Oor Wullie' of 100 Squadron, which carried out a lot of jamming missions. This Mk I will need the large jammer antennas added.
Third is a B.III from 116 squadron with 118 mission marks. This and the previous aircraft have painted fuselage windows. This one carries the H2S radar.
Finally, a B. III from 57 Squadron that has red fins with a black band.
Though designed for the Hasegawa kit, I see no reason why you couldn't apply these to a Matchbox or Airfix Lancaster.
