Never enough F-4 sheets, in my opinion and this one covers three very colorful planes. All are in the light gull grey over white scheme.

First is a VF-11 CAG bird from the USS Forrestal. This F-4B carries a nice fuselage lightning bolt, red wing and stabiliator tips and the multi-colored CAG diamonds on the rudder.

From VF-84 is the black tailed F-4J aboard the USS Roosevelt (Franklin D, not the Teddy).

Finally, a bicentennial plane from VF-101 in 1976 with a nice red, white and blue fin. Your editor built a very similar plane (after its transfer to VF-171) using the Hasegawa F-4J and it turned out quite nice (see below).

Recommended kit is the Hasegawa line, but the Fujimi kits should be just as usable. Same goes for the much less expensive Monogram F-4J. Even the ESCI and Italeri kits should make into a most acceptable model.
