Reich Defense Pt. IV

Strangely missing in a number of decal ranges are 1/72 Bf-109G-6s. Sure, you can find a lot of 109s, but the G-6 (which was the most built variant) doesn't have the number of sheets that you can find for the K or the E. This particular Aeromaster sheet takes care of some of that disparity by producing a sheet of  five 109G-6s. All but one of the schemes are in RLM 74/75/76. Aeromaster provides complete insignia and data for all five schemes. A few of them require the centers of the fuselage insignia painted, though that shouldn't be much of a problem for most modelers.

The first scheme is from 6/JG 27 in late 1944. The only color on this aircraft is the yellow underside of the nose.

From 7/JG 1 comes the next 109G-6. This one has a red fuselage band that was carried by all JG 1 aircraft.

The only late war colored aircraft is this one from 2/JG 302. It is in RLM 81(or 71)/82 over '84'. The aircraft has a yellow rudder, fuselage band and nose band.

With a black underside is this 2/JG 300 Gustav. It also has a red/black segmented spinner.

Finally, not shown, is Black 7 from 8/JG 51. It has a tight white spinner spiral that will have to be painted on.

If you are looking for a nice sheet for your 1/72 Bf-109G-6, this one will definitely fill the bill.
