This 1994 sheet provides markings for six different Me-262A aircraft in a variety of markings. When it comes to finding kits of this plane in 1/72, there are a number of options. Earliest kits were by Airfix and Matchbox. Most modelers will stay away from these. Later, a very nice kit was provided by Hasegawa and it is still easily found. Later, Revell AG produced an equally nice kit. Though I've not built the Revell AG version, it looks to be every bit as nice as the Hasegawa kit, and is generally a lot less expensive in many parts of the world.
First aircraft is white 17 from III./EJ 2. Though the sheet says fall of 1945, I think they mean 1944 as it is in the RLM 74/75/76 scheme. Now the drawings would have you believe that the fuselage was RLM 76 and covered with mottling. I doubt it and would suggest checking any reference photos before tackling this one and the last three on the sheet that show the same thing. One cannot always trust decal instruction drawings, especially from early Aeromaster sheets like this one.
Next is an interesting RLM 81/83/76 scheme from Stab./JG 7.
White 7 is from JV-44 and is shown to be RLM 81 over all upper surfaces with RLM 76 lowers.
White 2 is allegedly from III./JG 7 but still wears the markings from EJ 2 (the yellow band). It is in RLM 81/82/76.
From the bomber boys, comes F1+DA of Stab./KG 76 in RLM 82/83/76 camouflage. It is trimmed in green on the nose, fin tip and engine cowling intakes.
From Kommando Schenk is 9K+BH in RLM 81/83/76. Actually, it is more than likely from KG 51 as it has all the usual KG 51 white trim markings and code markings of 9K.
Aeromaster provides all markings and enough data markings for two planes.
