The ninth Aeromaster F-8 sheet covers two aircraft. Recommended kit is the Hasegawa version but I'm sure these would look nice on the Monogram kit as well. You may have to do some fudging with the Monogram kit as there may be some small differences. Both of these are in the light gull grey over white scheme.
First up is, you guessed it, a CAG bird F-8J from VF-194. This time it is in Bicentennial markings. Note the fin ECM bulges. Also note the gun ports painted red and the heat exchanger exhaust fairing was in gloss black.
For a change, here is a Marine line bird from VMF(AW)-122. This F-8E has no ECM bulge and a dark grey radome. You'll also notice that it is carrying a single Sidewinder rail. The builder will have to paint the ventral strakes in blue to match the rudder decal, which looks darker than what is shown in the instructions.
As with the previous sheet, insignia and walkways for one aircraft.
