It seems as if the F-84F is getting its due in some new sheets. This is the first to concentrate on the ANG and it is nice that all of these are from 'local' units. The recommended kit is by Monogram, but there is not any reason why these shouldn't be adaptable to the Heller kit as well. All aircraft are in unpainted metal with enough insignia and common markings to do one of the two options.

First is from the 110 TFS, Missouri ANG. This one has the commander's stripes around the fuselage. This unit is one of those guard units slated to be disbanded in the next few years.

Next is the 108 FBS, Illinois ANG. This unit moved to KC-97s and then KC-135s while based at O'hare near Chicago. Congestion caused it to move a few miles away from here at Scott AFB about 6 years ago where they are still flying KC-135s.

Two fine schemes so dust off those Thunderjets and get building!
