Mustangs have always been a pleaser amongst modelers. This particular sheet carries three various types that were all flown by aces.
The first is Chuck Yeager's 'Glamorous Glen III' of the 363rd FS / 357 FG in 1945. It is in natural metal with invasion stripes on the wings and lower fuselage. This carries the greyed out insignia, which is rather odd due to the bright markings and shiny metal, but anyway, there it is.
Next is a P-51B 'Short-Fuse Salle' from the 356th FS / 354 FG in early 1944. Richard Turner's mount is in OD over neutral grey with white wing stripes. This particular plane carries a Malcolm Hood.
Finally is Wallace Emmer's 'Arsons Reward' from the 353 FS/ 354 FG in 1944. Please note that this particular P-51D does not have the extra fin fillet of later versions, so it will have to be removed from whatever kit you are using.
There are a number of Mustang kits available depending on how much you are willing to spend! Any of them will look fine using these markings.
Please note that the sheet may look a bit short as I'll often crop off common markings to save on server space.
