RAF modelers of the WWII period naturally tend to flock to the Spitfire and Hurricane for their preference in fighter models. Personally, as neat as the Spitfire is, it is the Hurricane that gets my vote as it was often found in a much wider variety of markings than its sleeker and faster cousin.
This sheet is no exception in that there are a variety of different markings available. First is a Hurricane IIB from the 55 GV.IAP in Spring of 1942. The British sent a number of Hurricanes to the Soviets and this is in the standard fighter green/grey scheme of the time, but without the leading edge yellow stripes.
Next is a Sea Hurricane IB from 880 NAS. It is in standard Dark Sea Grey/Dark Slate Grey uppers with Sky Grey undersurfaces and sides. There are no distinguishing markings and you'll note that there is no tail hook on this 1941 aircraft.
Another Hurricane IIB of 81 Sq in Russia in standard 1941 colors of green/grey uppers and sky lowers. This aircraft has the Aboukir dust filter and was turned over to the Soviets when 81 Sq personnel left.
From Malta is this Hurricane I in what is listed as dark earth/dark green over sky. However that green is unlike any I've seen and is more like midstone than anything else.
Finally a South African HuricaneIIC from the OTU in September 1946. You'll notice that the guns have been removed on this training aircraft and that it is in dark earth uppers with sky lowers. The colorful orange, white, and blue roundels add to this scheme.
In 1/48 your choice of Hurricane kits is basically Airfix, Monogram, and Hasegawa. Although many will choose the newer Hasegawa kit, for shape and overall detail, the Airfix Hurricane I and Monogram Hurricane IIC are not that bad and make into nice models for the budget conscious.
