It seems that modelers just can't get enough P-51 sheets. To help fill that need, here is another sheet of 8th Air Force Mustangs. Most of these are late war P-51D versions with one earlier P-51B (not shown) tossed in. All of the D models are in overall natural metal with painted aluminum wings. The B model is in OD over Neutral grey with white wing and tail bands.

There are several good kits in 1/48 for this sheet. Most will go for the Tamiya or Hasegawa kits, but don't overlook the older Monogram and even the newer ICM kits. There is also a nice Otaki kit as well as the B done by Accurate Miniatures.

The first two subjects are  different incarnations of 'Man 'o War'. The first from early 1945 and the second from just prior to war's end.

Next is 'Down for Double' , also from the end of the war and the 354 FS/ 355 FG. You must paint all that white under the nose prior to applying the decal. From the 358 FS comes 'Ole-V' with a yellow tail and nose band and white spinner. This plane has subdued markings and the only insignia offered in the sheet. All other insignia will have to come from the kit or an alternate source.

The last one is a P-51B not shown. It is 'Ole-II' from mid 1944.

If you are a Mustang fan, then you should consider this particular sheet.

Please note that the sheet may look a bit short as I'll often crop off common markings to save on server space.
