Here is a sheet for the F-14D Tomcat. This aircraft is becoming quite a rare bird as of late as the Tomcat nears fleet retirement in a few years.
Typical of TwoBobs, there are three options; a CAG bird and two others. There are also the obligatory detail photos and a load out info sheet. This is yet another Enduring Freedom sheet as have the last dozen or so. Since the F-14 has been equipped with bomb dropping equipment and avionics, we can now see strike mission markings on the nose of the F-14 and this sheet provides those needed for each nose number.
There are full markings for two of the three planes on the sheet, so no need to go scrounging for any items. Unlike the Hornets, the Tomcats are nearly devoid of the myriad of data markings, so that makes applying decals a simpler job.
In terms of kits, you really have only two viable options. One is the Hasegawa kit, which is a bit pricey, but offers the greater level of detail. The other is the newer and nearly as good Revell offering. Both have trade-offs. The Hasegawa one is basically an update of their F-14A/B kit with most of the D mods. The Revell kit has all the right mods, but several have commented on the rather large engraved panel lines. Regardless of your choice, this is a sheet to have.
