Switching to the USAF for a moment or two, here is a sheet that covers the two 101 FS F-15As that were scrambled on 11 September in a vain attempt to intercept the hijacked airliners. The sheet includes a timetable of events as well as the usual detail photos of the aircraft in question.

A small addendum sheet includes insignia and refueling door outlines. The main sheet includes all the other markings as well as the special tail markings for the Boss Birds of the 101FS/102 FW. Several of the small shadow decals are done separately to ensure good register.

Whichever kit you use for this sheet, you need to get aftermarket afterburners as they all have had the 'turkey feathers' removed to ease maintenance.  A very well done sheet to commemorate this important event.
