How often have you bought a kit at a swap meet or yard sale only to find it missing decals? Well, I did this with a Hasegawa F-4C kit. I had planned to use aftermarket decals, but the set I want to use had no common markings! To my rescue comes Aeromaster with a super sheet of stencils and other needed markings.
They are up to Aeromaster's usual high quality. You are provided with two sheets; more than enough to completely cover two Phantoms. What is not provided are the markings in white that were used on some earlier aircraft, so you really need to have good references. Several different types of ejection seat warning triangles are provided as well as a set of small national insignia. In addition a complete set of slime lights are given including wing tip lights for early Phantoms and late F-4Es with the wing tip RWR sensors.
The decal placement guide is excellent. Shown is the side for the top and bottom of the aircraft. The side placement information is on the other side. While a SEA painted aircraft is shown, these stencils are equally applicable on SEA wrap, Euro 1, and ADC grey versions as well as the early Gull Grey and White F-4Cs. Most of the stencils will not be good on the later Hill Grey schemes as those markings were often in shades of grey. Again, you need to check your references.
