This is the perfect book for a youngster. It combines several thinks that young (male) children like. First it is on a subject that kids just naturally like; trucks; specifically pickup trucks. Secondly it has something to play with (the Hot Wheels), third, the print is large enough to easily read and finally, it is written at a level that they will have no difficulty understanding.

The book goes through the basics of what a truck is all about and then covers many of the major historical trucks from the major US manufacturers. It also includes a goodly selection of HotWheels trucks and a small biography of each shown, something that the adult collector will also find useful.

This is one of five similar books that include Hot Rods and Racers among its titles. I found the book to be easy to read and informative, just the perfect gift for the child or the collector!
