Stratus has a series of books called 'Spotlight ON:' which basically consists of superb artwork on specific aircraft. This one is on special or interesting scheme long nose F-4 Phantoms.

It covers all of what several of us call the gun nose F-4s, specifically the F-4E and later variants. These are the types that were the most widely exported and the ones that are still in service in a few nations around the world.

Each subject has both port and starboard profiles as well as upper and lower plan views. I think that most late Phantom operators have been included in this work. It starts with the prototype F-4E, which was really a conversion from an F-4D to ensure that the longer nose would not have any adverse effects on the airframe. Also included is the prototype F-4G, a Thunderbirds plane, special schemes from Germany, Japan, Greece, and other nations. There are also standard as well as test camouflage schemes that were not put into general use.

In all, it makes for a superb book for the enthusiast and one that I have no trouble recommending to you.
