A popular type of book amongst many are those that show the aircraft types and liveries of the various world airlines. In this new title from Midland, author John K Morton provides a look at many of the airlines currently plying the skies of Europe.

His coverage is from Iceland to Spain to Russia and incorporates all of the various countries in between. In these pages you'll find at least one airline from every country and that includes those that have just recently sprung up from the dissolving of the Soviet Union and those new states in the Balkans.

Printed in full color, there are over 190 well done images showing many of these new and well-known airlines. It is as much a chance for author Morton to show his photographic skills as anything else as all the images in the book were taken by him at a few of the more busy airports around Europe.

Each image has a short caption that explains a bit about either the airline in question or about the aircraft or its livery. All in all this is just the type of book that airliner fans like; short on details but long on photo coverage and one that I know will be well received.
