The next edition in the 'Musclecar Tech' series is the Chevrolet Corvette's C2 series. This is the second chassis/body style and was the one that really put the Corvette on the map as a world-class sports car.
The author provides a general background on the initial Corvettes and why that particular chassis/body style never really caught on with the buying public. Then there are five chapters, one for each year, devoted to a full and complete description of all aspects of that year's car. You get the lowdown on changes in body style as well as engine and chassis differences from the previous year.
In among this are additional story sections on the various racing Corvettes. I found these sections to be extremely interesting and they did help to answer some questions I'd always had about the car. This is followed by a two page modeler's section on Corvette kits.
Throughout the book you'll find a ton of photographs, all in full color, taken of superbly restored cars. These photos are really the key to the book as with them you can see all the changes and differences between the various years.
This is a book that both enthusiasts and Corvette owners alike will have to have. I'm sure you will agree once you get your hands on it. It is a book you can buy with confidence.
