One of AirTime Publishing's strengths is that it has all those great articles from the now defunct World Airpower Journal and Wings of Fame, as well as the current International Airpower Review, to draw on for compilation books. These books are a real boon to those who missed the original editions and this one should please a rather wide range of enthusiasts.

Taken from those aforementioned publications are all the articles on the Spitfire/Seafire and the Bf-109. Since there were more articles on the Spitfire, that gets the lion's share of the print with five major articles. Those are Merlin Spits, Griffon Spits, PR Spits, and two on US Spitfire Operations. The Bf-109 has two major articles that divide the history of the plane into early and later variants.

These are printed verbatim from the previous 'magazines' and it is great to have all this information in one volume. It is a real boon to those of us who have more references than we can easily search through. These articles are still chock full of color and black & white photos, oodles of profiles and listings of users and surviving flyable airframes.

As with their earlier compilation volumes, this book is an absolute must for enthusiasts and really needs to be on your book shelf.
