BOOK: Random Thoughts 36/2

NOTES:

It was great to get the latest RT in the mails. I'm quite pleased that they are able to keep up their publication schedule as often club magazines are quite late compared to the date on the cover. This edition continues in the format of the recent editions and has 36 full color pages.

In this edition, there are basically five build or research articles. The first of these is the cover article by Yves Fournier as he builds a CAF CC-130E using the 1/72 Italeri kit.

Next we move to armor with Kevin Smith's build of the Italeri 1/35 Staghound Mk III. Kevin has done a lot of work on this one including modifying the figures.

The third article is a research article by Terry Higgins and Carl Vincent. This is for Canadian Venturas offering a large number of full color profiles and a lot of information on each one of the options. This article covers ten full pages.

Gary Barling does what seems to be his quarterly build, this time with the Mirage 1/48 RWD-8 trainer.

The final article is from another regular, Randy Lutz as he works his magic on the Eduard 1/48 Bf-108.

In all, a most welcome issue that is read in far too short a time, but well worth the work that has gone into it.
