NOTES:

The latest edition of Random Thoughts arrived on my doorstep last week and as usual, I tore into reading it. The editor is continuing to work on the format bit by bit and it certainly isn't the RT of a few years back. There are 36 pages of goodies, most of it in color, covering seven articles of a variety of subjects, though not surprisingly, most are aircraft.

Once past the editorial and the chapter stuff, there is part two of Vic Scheuerman's superbly done 1/72 RCN Avenger target tug.

Next is Brent Hampton's nicely built and pretty much stock Tamiya 1/35Ford quad tractor and 25 pounder.

This moves onto the first of two research articles by Leo Pettipas. The first is on the RCN's Sea Furies and their color schemes, while the second has a history of the markings changes with 402 Squadron's planes during the 1950s and 1960s.

Randy Lutz works his magic on the Tamiya 1/48 N1K1 'Rex' floatplane for the next article.

This is followed by a very nice pair of CF-101 Voodoos using the Revell 1/72 kit by Vyes Fournier.

Finally, a superb build by Bernie Hengst of the Huma 1/72 Dornier Do J IIa 'Wal'

In all another outstanding issue and well worth the price of admission.
