NOTES:

The latest edition of Random Thoughts arrived on my doorstep the other day and it is a very nice selection of different articles. Within its 24 pages are four very nice articles.

First up is Patrick McNorgan's build of the ICM 1/48 Spitfire XVI. Patrick fixed a number of glitches in the kit and added a goodly amount of detail as well. This 402 Sq aircraft also has had the engine nicely built up and displayed.

Next, an interesting two pager by Stephen Bathy on his backdate of the Monogram B-36 to a B model.

Randy Lutz is next with another of his super Tamiya P-51D Mustang builds and the cover aircraft for this issue. Randy has chosen to make his into a 402 Squadron plane from the 1953 time frame. A nicely done article with lots of good info for anyone doing an early 50's Mustang.

Finally, part 1 of Sid Arnold's Tasca 1/35 Luchs build. As with most armor modelers, Sid is making a lot of changes and improvements to this kit. All is accompanied by a nice batch of photos showing the work that is done.
